Lily in April- age 17 months.

(With her aunt in photos 2 and 3 of this series.)

Early April:

April 20 -- Lily will be 18 months old in 10 days.

Lily waves bye bye, blows kisses, nods her head up and down for "yes" and shakes it from side to side for "no."
Understands a lot. Regularly says "dat" when reaching for something she wants.
She is such a joy in our lives.

Where's Lily? (.....a very short video about hiding)

February 10

Lily eating ice cream (lots on her face) and Lily playing movie star in her hoodie and grownup sunglasses:

Video from January 16th.
Lily's eating and playing with her "goldfish crackers."
She made a new game out of moving the crackers from the main part of the tray to the cup holder and back.
Then she had fun taking them out of the container too. Sorry for the TV sound. Next time I will turn it off, heh.

Merry Christmas to all from Lily!

Lily had a great birthday!

Wrapping paper and ribbons are a lot of fun.

Is the cake coming yet?

Thanksgiving Weekend, 2007

Lily is only 3 weeks away from her first birthday.
She had a grand time walking up and down the condo's hallway.

...and the mirrored doors in the front hall were a new source of  entertainment!

Just a little note about the music on
Lily's Page.
Sweet Baby James is one of my favourite songs sung by Clay.
When I listen to it, I am transported back to the night in Clio, Michigan, July, 2004, when he sang this to us.
The sun had set, and the moon was coming up behind the weeping willows that framed the stage.
It was a soft, warm summer night, and we were sitting close to the stage in a most intimate outdoor amphitheatre.
The crowd was quiet, listening to the song....I held my breath....
Surrounded by friends, and with the spotlight on Clay, sitting on his stool, singing this James Taylor lullabye, as the dusk came down over the park, I felt a most perfect moment, one I will always remember.
Thank you, Clay.

(...and may the good people of Clio be able to bring back the wonderful amphitheatre they were forced to close last year for financial reasons. For many of us, it is our favourite venue in which to see and hear Clay sing.
There is nowhere else that we can get so close to the stage.)
