Generation Clay

A fan site dedicated to Clay Aiken

Clay on the roof, last night of Spamalot.

( Be sure to check the Videos page as well)

This photo was taken by dancerdad (aka the DH of dancermom)
(Thanks for releasing your excellent photos for the fandom to see)

This was the scene at the stage door last night, May 3...the second last night of
Clay's stint in Spamalot. Those who were present said that it was just wild.
Viewers here who have been to Shubert Alley in the last 4 months will
be amazed at the sight of the crowd stretching right back to Junior's windows.
Yes, Clay came outside to see the crowd and sign a few autographs.
He was verra verra happy.

Another great montage by Suereu---many thanks for posting it on YouTube

Stage door video from May 1. Thanks to bigapple4clay who posted the link
to her PhotoBucket account so that everyone could see the vid.

Great new photos from April 28 and 29:

April 28: Here's Clay on QVC  (a TV shopping channel in the USA) on Monday evening, with the hostess, Jacque.
He sold at least 12, 000 copies of the new CD, On My Way Here.

April 29: Clay and Hannah walking on the street: they sang together at the Easter Bonnet ( fundraising) finale in the afternoon.
They were NOT at a matinée performance of The Lion King. That was reported by journalists who did not do their homework.
Yes, it was The Lion King's theatre, but there ws no matinée..the theatre hosted BroadwayCares for the afternoon.

And here they are, singing.

April 29: Stage door again at last.

Thanks Suereu for this animation....from webisode #3.

"2003 to 2008"

A new treat from Fountaindawg today:
This collage is the album cover plus the new promotional photo that was released today.
Thanks to F'Dawgie for the collage and huge thanks to the photographer, Eric Ogden, for the terrific photo.
Can't wait to see the rest of the photoshoot!

Be sure to scroll down for a couple of "paragraphs" added on Saturday, March 22.
(They had to go under the Easter greeting)

Here's the cover of the new CD!

Here's a little something started by GBB and finished off by Fountaindawg.

Five album covers that show the transition made over the last 5 years.

And here's another little something to squelch those who ask if Clay's "had a little work done, "
or who think there has been some major Photoshopping going on.
Thanks to GBB for this creation.

Thanks to Fountaindawg for this topical collage!

Stage Door, March 15

Looks like Clay started the wearing o' the green a day or two early!

Thanks to Toni7babe for great photos!

This scan is from a (new today) USA Today Special Edition on American Idol.
Double (merged) scan provided by FountainDawg (many thanks!) from scans made by Farouche (thank you, too!)
Note that the creators of this page don't even get that Clay is wearing a wig (one of 3 he wears in the show) in his role as Sir Robin in Spamalot.
Guess they haven't even been to the show, let alone seen Clay in concert.

You've got to watch this new montage which was posted on YouTube by Cate.

Quiana attended Spamalot yesterday (Feb. 18) and again on Feb. 19.
Here she is, radiant and gorgeous, at the stage door with Clay, after the show.
Many thanks to mustbeeme from the CV for permission to post her photo.

This photo is by Toni7babe, taken at the stage door after the matinee, today, Feb 16th.
Thanks, Toni!  Great shot.

Something timely from Fountaindawg..thanks, Dawgie!

Thanks to Morganette for permission to post her photo from the stage door, taken this past week.

What would we do without Fountaindawg?
She's doing summary collages of each week of Spamalot.
Collages start with opening night, and continue through the first weekend and on into the end of the first week of Clay's run in the show.
These are great. Thanks from all of us, F'Dawgie.

January 19:

Week of January 22-27

Some gorgeous photos of Clay popped up, and  of course,
Fountaindawg couldn't wait to make wallpaper...
Thanks, Dawgie for this beauty! Woof, woof!
